The Orthotists at Germishuys and van den Berg are specially trained and qualified to evaluate, measure, fit and follow Orthomerica’s treatment programme to correct conditions such as plagiocephaly, scaphocephaly and brachycephaly of an infant. We make use of very accurate 3D scan and CAD CAM technology to have the devices manufactured which allow for excellent record keeping, less messy and patient friendly impression techniques as well as accurate input of local and international experts in the field.

It is very important that the treatment program starts off with a specialist doctor’s prescription. Careful monitoring from the orthotist is needed throughout the months of the programme.
