As Orthotists we tend to a large variety of foot diagnoses that often can be treated with the appropriate footwear. Our services related to shoes include shoe modifications such as shoe raises and rocker soles, evaluation and measurement of orthopaedic shoes, custom made shoes/ surgical shoes and evaluation, measurement and advise on the correct footwear.
At times, the correct footwear may not be effective on its own and orthotics may be indicated in addition to or instead of shoes.
